phpDoesntExist (“we”, “us”) is a web development studio in Philo, Ohio. We build websites and sell WordPress plugins, including The Event System. This policy explains what information we collect through this site and our products, and how we use it.

What we collect

• Account and order information. When you buy a plugin license or a service plan, we collect your name, email address, billing details, and order history through WooCommerce. Card payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
• License activity. When a plugin you bought from us checks for updates, it sends us your license key, your site URL, and the installed plugin version. We use this to validate the license and deliver the right update, nothing else.
• Support and project content. Work orders, support tickets, and feature requests you submit are stored so we can do the work and keep a history of it.
• Technical basics. Like most sites we receive standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) and use cookies needed for login sessions and the shopping cart.

How we use it

We use this information to deliver purchases, validate licenses and serve plugin updates, provide support, run and improve this site, and send transactional email about your orders and account. We do not sell your data, and we do not send marketing email you did not ask for.

Who we share it with

Only the processors needed to run the business: Stripe for payments and our hosting and email infrastructure. Each processes your data under its own privacy policy and our instructions.

Retention

Order and license records are kept for as long as your license or account is active, and afterwards as long as tax and accounting rules require. Support and project records are kept while they remain useful to servicing your account. You can ask us to delete your account data at any time, subject to those legal requirements.

Your rights

You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact us and we will sort it out.
