Terms & Conditions
The terms behind our plugins, licenses, and services.
Last updated: July 8, 2026
These terms cover your use of this site and anything you buy from phpDoesntExist: WordPress plugins, plugin licenses, and web development services. Placing an order means you accept them.
Plugin licenses
- Our plugins are WordPress plugins distributed under the GPL v2 (or later) license. Your purchase buys a license key, which entitles one production site to automatic updates and support for as long as the license is active.
- Monthly and yearly licenses renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel any time from your account; access to updates continues to the end of the paid period.
- Lifetime licenses are a one-time payment and receive updates for the lifetime of the product.
- A lapsed or cancelled license does not break your site. The plugin keeps working; it just stops receiving updates and support.
- License keys are not transferable between customers. Moving a license to a different site you own is fine, just ask.
Web development services
Website builds, service plans, and work orders are delivered as described in the plan or written proposal you purchased. Service plans renew monthly until cancelled. Scope changes are agreed in writing before we build them.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining backups of your own site, keeping your account credentials safe, and having the rights to any content you give us to work with. Do not use this site or our products for anything unlawful.
Disclaimers
Our plugins and services are provided “as is” to the fullest extent permitted by law. We work hard to make them excellent, but we do not guarantee they are error free or fit for a particular purpose. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the product or service that gave rise to it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Governing law
